Cadillac is officially stepping into the European scene and they’re not doing it quietly.

Meet the brand new Cadillac Optiq, a luxury electric SUV that’s here to redefine what “American luxury” means on European roads.

At first glance, the design is everything you’d expect from Cadillac: bold, sharp, and dynamic. A silhouette that balances elegance with performance.

Under that design?
A dual-motor, all-wheel-drive setup. Giving you the grip, balance, and instant torque you’d expect from an EV that’s built for both comfort and confidence.

You’ve also got all the driving modes you could want, whether you’re cruising through the city, taking the long way home, or even gliding on ice.

Performance Details

  • 75-kWh battery

  • 304 hp (peak horsepower)

  • 480 Nm (peak torque)

  • 0–100 km/h in 6.3 seconds (in Sport Mode)

  • Top speed 184 km/h

  • Full charge delivers up to 425 km of range

Inside the Optiq

This is where things get really interesting.
The interior feels like a mix of tech and craftsmanship:

  • A 33-inch LED curved display that wraps around the dash

  • A digital rearview mirror

  • Massaging seats for both driver and passenger

  • Apple Carplay (I know this is important)

  • Sustainable design, like a center console made out of recycled newspaper (yes, really).

But my favorite part? The sound.

Even though it’s electric, the Optiq makes up for the lack of engine sound with 19 speakers powered by AKG and Dolby Atmos, and honestly it might be the best-sounding car I’ve ever been in.

It’s the kind of audio setup that makes you want to sit in the car long after you’ve parked, just to keep listening.

And the best part is all of this comes standard.
No upgrade package.
Just pick your favourite colour, and it’s all included.

Cadillac clearly wants to make a statement: luxury, technology, and experience can coexist in a fully electric package and look good doing it.

What do you think of the new Cadillac Optiq?
