Every now and then, you come across an event that makes you pause and think “how have I never heard of this before?”

For me, that was Bonneville Speed Week.

It takes place on the legendary salt flats in Utah, a surreal, endless white landscape that feels otherworldly before a single engine even starts.

Then you add speed and passion, and a community obsessed with pushing limits. And suddenly, it becomes one of the most fascinating automotive events on earth.

Bonneville Speed Week is a land speed racing event that runs for an entire week. And the diversity is unbelievable.

You’ll see everything from hot rods and streamliners, to roadsters, diesel trucks, and even belly tankers (I honestly don’t even know what those are).

This is a place where engineering meets obsession, and where speed isn’t just measured in numbers, but in dedication and courage.

If you’ve been, I genuinely want to hear your experience, because this feels like the kind of event that leaves a mark.

And if you haven’t? Maybe it’s time to put Bonneville on the calendar.
