For the final day of 30 Days of Car Events, it only feels right to end where it all began for me.

In the heart of Los Angeles, I stumbled into a Friday morning meetup called Rise n Shine, hosted by Race Service.

It felt simple like “just another cars & coffee” at first, but it turned into the moment that changed everything.

Once a month, every Friday. Each edition with a different creative theme. And by pure coincidence, the very first one I attended was JDM themed.

The cars were incredible, of course. But more than that, it was the atmosphere. The people. The passion. The excitement of a community bonding over engines, design, culture, and shared obsession.

This is where I truly fell in love with the car world, not just because of the vehicles themselves, but because of the community built around them.

If you find yourself in LA, I couldn’t recommend it enough.

Grab a coffee. Wander. Talk to people. Let yourself get lost in it.

And with that… Happy New Year!

Here’s to many more cars, adventures, and automotive events in 2026
